Fishing Resources
Since its foundation, Albacora Group has been especially sensitive to sustainability policies relating to fishing resources. Proof of this is the fact that for more than 15 years, representatives of the company have attended international forums held on this subject with the aim of securing the agreement of Regional Fishing Organisations (hereinafter, RFOs), European Union and sector employers in order to apply measures worldwide to protect this resource.
We understand that if fishing is to be viable in the future, it seems to be absolutely necessary to adopt measures to stop fishing on a temporary basis to ensure the continuity of this activity: our passivity in this aspect would bring about serious consequences in the future which we will undoubtedly live to regret.
